Arthur Gabriel II

Principal

Mr. Gabriel has more than 25 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, as well as the retail industry. He is currently affiliated with West Place Real Estate Services, LLC in Washington, Pa as a Partner.

West Place is a real estate management and development company with a portfolio of approximately 2,000,000 sf of retail and industrial holdings throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia and Ohio.

Previously, he was a principal and shareholder in both Gabriel Brothers, Inc. and Rugged Wearhouse Inc. of Morgantown, West Virginia prior to the sale to a New York private equity group.

Art received his J.D. from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and a B.S. from The Tepper School of Business at Carnegie Mellon University.

Robert Oppenheim

Principal

Mr. Oppenheim has more than 25 years of experience in the commercial and residential real estate industry, and had been with Bayview Asset Management for more than 10 years prior to his departure. In 2012, he co-founded Market Street Real Estate Partners and has since completed over $535 million in commercial real estate transactions.

Mr. Oppenheim was head of a specialized group responsible for restructuring large balance and complex non-performing and sub-performing commercial loans and oversaw the property management division. Mr. Oppenheim was a member of the investment committee for the Bayview Opportunity Fund.

Previously, Mr. Oppenheim led the firm’s development projects and real estate acquisitions for repositioning, including retail, office and large scale leisure projects, in excess of $500 million. Prior to joining Bayview Financial, Mr. Oppenheim served as Chief Operating Officer of Gulfside Development where he directed the strategic turnaround and operation of more than $200 million in retail and industrial properties located in the mid-Atlantic region.

Previously, Mr. Oppenheim served as Executive Vice President of Mann Theatres in Los Angeles with primary responsibility for spearheading the company’s expansion into both California and Colorado. Mr. Oppenheim is originally a native of Pittsburgh and earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Carnegie Mellon University.

Matthew Gabriel

Director of Acquisitions

Mr. Gabriel has years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. He is currently affiliated with G+O Property Partners as Director of Acquisitions.

His prior work experience includes time with Market Street Real Estate Partners of Miami, Florida, Colliers International in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, and DDR Corp (now SITE Centers) in Cleveland, Ohio. During his time at each company, he focused on asset sales and acquisitions across office, retail, and industrial properties.

Matthew received his BS in Finance from Case Western Reserve University in 2018.
